Growing up dancing, skiing, and exploring the natural beauty of Canada’s West Coast, she developed an early connection to movement and curiosity that informs her work today. She’s excited to collaborate with Emmy to create a space where cultural reverence, compassion, joy, and curiosity blend with her expertise to support deep healing and self-discovery.
Emmy is an intuitive healer/bodyworker, experienced yoga teacher, and doula. Emmy has trained in trauma-sensitive approaches, embodied pedagogy, and various healing modalities. Emmy has shared her ancestral teaching of yoga internationally and in a wide variety of settings. She has a BA in Cultural Studies, minor in Gender and Women's Studies and is particularly passionate about supporting families through birth as well as individuals through liminal spaces and transitional times. Emmy spent many years teaching wellness workshops and yoga in the corporate sphere, and has previously worked in high schools teaching violence prevention and consent to young women.
Some of Emmy's ongoing interests, experience, and further training in wellness can be found within: family and systemic constellations, compassionate communication, holistic massage, resonant attention, herbalism, yoga, intuition, and cultural sensitivity.
